The Calgary Flames have re-upped with one of their trade acquisitions from last season.
Centre Morgan Frost re-signed with the Flames on a two-year, $8.75-million contract, worth $4.375 million in average annual value, the team announced Thursday.
The Flames acquired Frost in a mid-season trade with the Flyers.
The 26-year-old forward finished the season with 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists), 12 of which (three goals, nine assists) came with Calgary.
The Aurora, Ont., native was selected 27th overall in the 2017 draft by Philadelphia. Over six seasons, Frost scored 53 goals and recorded 94 helpers (147 points) in 310 games.
