Flames re-sign Colton Poolman to one-year, two-way contract

The Calgary Flames have re-signed defenceman Colton Poolman to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Wednesday.

Poolman, 26, spent the past two seasons playing for the Flames' AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat. He registered 13 points in 62 games-played for the Heat last season, including notching two assists in the Calder Cup playoffs.
