The Calgary Flames have added another blue liner to their ranks.
Calgary signed defenceman Nick Cicek to a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday, the team announced.
The deal is worth $775,000 at the NHL level, Sportsnet's Pat Steinberg reported.
Cicek, 25, spent last season playing in Germany's DEL with the Mannheim Eagles.
He last played in the NHL with the San Jose Sharks in 2022-23 when he appeared in 16 games and recorded four assists.
