The Calgary Flames signed forward Lucas Ciona to a three-year entry-level contract on Sunday.
Ciona was selected by the Flames in the sixth round of the 2021 NHL Draft and has been off to a strong start this season with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL. In nine games this season, the Edmonton native has seven goals and 17 points.
Ciona's deal will start during the 2023-24 season.
