The Calgary Flames are bringing in another goaltender.
Calgary signed goalie Kirill Zarubin to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced on Friday.
The deal will carry an average annual value of $1,007,500.
Zarubin, 22, spent last season playing in Russia with AKM Tula of the MHL.
Over 48 games with AKM Tula, the Russian netminder posted a 2.17 goals-against average and .930 save percentage with three shutouts.
Zarubin was selected by the Flames 84th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
