Flames sign RFA Andrew Mangiapane to two-year contract

The Calgary Flames have signed RFA forward Andrew Mangiapane to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $2,425,000.

Mangiapane played in 68 games for the Flames last season, registering career highs with 17 goals and 15 assists. He appeared in all 10 playoff games for Calgary and picked up two goals and three assists.

The 24-year-old initially had an arbitration hearing scheduled for Oct. 20.

Mangiapane was originally selected by the Flames in the sixth round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
