The Florida Panthers have agreed to terms with defenceman John Ludvig on a two-year, two-way contract, the team’s general manager Bill Zito announced Monday. The deal is worth $775,000, according to CapFriendly.
During the 2022-23 season, the Czech-Canadian played 54 games with the Charlotte Checkers, the Panthers AHL affiliate, racking up 17 points (three goals, 14 assists). Ludvig has recorded a total of 25 points over 70 AHL games.
The 22-year-old from Kamloops, B.C., was originally selected 69th overall by the Panthers in the 2019 NHL Draft.
