The Philadelphia Flyers have activated star centre Sean Couturier from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's tilt against the Washington Capitals.
Couturier has been sidelined since Jan. 15 when he forced to leave the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins after suffering a Costochondral separation, an injury in which the rib tears away from the cartilage that connects it to the breastbone.
The Flyers initially said he would miss a minimum of two weeks.
Last season's Selke winner, Couturier had 59 points across 69 games in 2019-20. He has an assist in two games this year.
