Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier has an upper-body injury that will force him to miss at least the team's next two games.
Couturier left the game against the New York Islanders after getting hit into the boards and hurting his shoulder.
The 31-year-old has 11 goals and 36 points in 70 games this season for Philadelphia.
Couturier, named captain in February, was made a healthy scratch for games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes in late March.
The Flyers are third in the Metropolitan Division with 83 points — only one point up on the Washington Capitals in the race to the playoffs.
