Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Jamie Drysdale is week-to-week with the upper-body injury he suffered in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team confirmed Tuesday.
After taking a big hit from Penguins forward Jansen Harkins in the second period, Drysdale immediately headed to the Flyers' locker room with what appeared to be a limp left arm and shoulder.
The 21-year-old suffered a season-ending shoulder injury eight games into the 2022-23 season while he was still with the Anaheim Ducks. He was cleared to play on Sep. 7, 2023, at the outset of this season.
He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Drysdale was traded to the Flyers earlier this season for forward Cutter Gauthier. He has three goals and nine points in 27 games played this season.
