Trade season is back underway.
The Philadelphia Flyers sent forward Jon-Randall Avon to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for forward Tucker Robertson, the teams announced on Thursday.
Avon, 22, joined the Flyers as an undrafted free agent in 2021 but never made it up to the NHL. In 125 games with the team's AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Peterborough, Ont., native recorded 16 goals and 19 assists.
Robertson, also 22, is likewise yet to reach the NHL level.
Through 77 career games with Seattle's AHL affiliate Coachella Valley Firebirds, the Toronto native has 10 goals and nine assists.
He was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft by the Kraken.
