Flyers place Hart, Brassard and Laughton in COVID-19 protocol

The Philadelphia Flyers announced Monday they have added goaltender Carter Hart plus forwards Derick Brassard and Scott Laughton to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list.

Hart has posted a 7-8-4 record with a 2.74 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in 19 games this season.

Brassard has four goals and seven assists in 18 games while Laughton has six goals and three assists in 29 games.

Philadelphia also announced forward Max Willman, who entered COVID-19 protocol Dec. 18, has been cleared to return to practice.

The Flyers named three players to their taxi squad recalling goaltender Felix Sandstrom and forwards Jackson Cates and Gerry Mayhew from Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League.

Philadelphia (12-12-5) is scheduled to return to action from the holiday break Wednesday on the road against the Seattle Kraken.
