Flyers sign Robert Hagg to two-year, $3.2M contract extension

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed stay-at-home defenceman Robert Hagg to a two-year contract extension worth $3.2 million, the team announced Monday.

The contract runs through the 2021-22 season and carries an average annual value of $1.6 million.

The 25-year-old rearguard from Uppsala, Sweden led the Flyers in hits (136) during his fourth season in Philadelphia, collecting 13 points across 49 games. He added three points in 12 post-season matches as the Flyers made a run to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
