Philadelphia Flyers forward Owen Tippett exited Saturday's game against the Colorado Avalanche in the third period with a lower-body injury, the team announced.
After the team's 7-4 loss, Flyers coach John Tortorella did not have a further update.
Tippett is second on the team with 18 goals this season. He also has 11 assists to give him 29 points in 45 games.
The 24-year-old native of Peterborough, Ont. has 63 goals and 55 assists in 237 career games for the Florida Panthers and Flyers.
The Panthers picked the Mississauga Steelheads product 10th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.
