Dec. 4, 2018 marked the day the NHL Board of Governors approved the league's 32nd franchise in Seattle.
And now, 1,054 days later, the Seattle Kraken play their home opener in the Emerald City, welcoming 17,100 fans to Climate Pledge Arena.
