The Vegas Golden Knights are down their captain.
Mark Stone was forced to exit Friday's Game 2 against the Anaheim Ducks in the first period with an apparent injury.
Stone appeared to suffer the inury back checking on the power play midway through the first 20 minutes. He left the ice favouring his left leg and did not return to the bench for the start of the second period.
He would eventually appear on the bench a little later in the second, but after a quick skate during a timeout to test things out, Stone slammed his stick and headed back down the tunnel.
After the game, which the Golden Knights won 6-2 to take a 2-1 series lead, Vegas head coach John Tortorella didn't give any update on Stone's status.
