Golden Knights' Eichel exits game against Panthers with upper-body injury

Watch as Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel heads back to the bench and down the tunnel after taking a point shot to the hand from Florida Panthers defenceman MacKenzie Weegar.

Vegas Golden Knights centre Jack Eichel did not return for the third period of Thursday's game against the Florida Panthers after sustaining an upper-body injury.

Eichel headed to the dressing room with about five minutes remaining in the second after blocking a shot off of his right hand from Panthers defenceman MacKenzie Weegar.

Although Eichel came back to finish the period, he was ruled out for the final frame.

Eichel has five goals and five assists in 15 games with Vegas this season since arriving in a blockbuster trade from the Buffalo Sabres for Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs and a pair of draft picks.
