The Vegas Golden Knights are bringing back a depth forward.
Cole Schwindt has agreed to terms on a one-year contract to return to Vegas for the 2025-26 season, the team confirmed Sunday.
Schwindt had eight points (one goal, seven assists) in a career-high 42 games with the Golden Knights during last season. The right-shot forward notched his first NHL point in his Vegas debut on Oct. 11 against the St. Louis Blues and scored his first career goal on April 16 against the Vancouver Canucks.
The 24-year-old Schwindt made his post-season debut on May 14 in Game 5 against Edmonton.
Schwindt was claimed off waivers by Vegas from the Calgary Flames in October, and has appeared in 49 NHL contests between the Golden Knights, Flames and Florida Panthers.
The Kitchener, Ont., native was selected in the third round, 81st overall by Florida in the 2019 NHL Draft.
