Rasmus Andersson is staying in Sin City.
The Golden Knights signed Rasmus Andersson to a seven-year, $59.5-million deal, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Wednesday.
Andersson was traded to the Golden Knights from the Calgary Flames in January and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Final.
Over 81 regular-season games split between the two teams, the 29-year-old finished with 17 goals and 30 assists while averaging 23:12 of ice time per night. He added six assists in the playoffs.
Since being drafted 53rd overall by Calgary in 2015, the Malmo, Sweden, native has compiled 278 points (64 goals, 214 assists) in 617 games.
