The Vegas Golden Knights have signed former Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a two-year contract worth $4.6 million.

The news comes after former goalie and reigning Vezina Trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury was traded from the Golden Knights to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Brossoit had a 6-6-0 record in 11 starts and 14 games played for the Jets in the 2020-2021 season, and will be leaving Winnipeg after a three-year stint.
