The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Jeremy Davies to a two-year contract through the 2026-27 season, the team announced Wednesday.
Davies, 28, appeared in all 72 games last season for the AHL’s Belleville Senators, posting 48 points (11 goals, 37 assists) while finishing plus-nine as the team's assistant captain.
He was originally selected in the seventh round (192nd overall) of 2016 draft by the New Jersey Devils.
His first NHL experience came with Nashville in 2020-21, however, and he's logged a total of 23 games at the top level since, split between the Predators and Buffalo Sabres. Davies has recorded three assists in that span.
In 329 career AHL games with the Milwaukee Admirals, Chicago Wolves, Rochester Americans, and Senators, Davies has totalled 174 points (44 goals, 130 assista) and was a plus-57.
Davies posted personal bests in 2024-25 in games played (72), assists (37), and points (48), while representing the North Division in the AHL All-Star Classic. His 37 assists were tied for fifth in the AHL among defensemen, and his 48 points ranked seventh.
