Golden Knights sign Daniil Chayka to three-year, entry-level contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Daniil Chayka to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Chayka spent the 2020-21 season in Russia, playing 26 games in the KHL, VHL and MHL.

Prior to playing in Russia, the defenseman played with the Guelph Storm of the OHL putting with 34 points to lead the team in scoring among defenders. The Golden Knights selected Chayka in the second round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
