Golden Knights sign Dylan Coghlan to one-year, $775K deal

Dylan Coghlan is going back to where he started.

The defenceman has signed a one-year, $775,000 deal with the Vegas Golden Knights, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman confirmed Tuesday.

Coghlan, 28, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Golden Knights in 2017, and made his NHL debut with Vegas in 2020-21.

Coghlan split last year between the Winnipeg Jets (six games) and their AHL Manitoba affiliate (36 games). He has six goals and 16 assists in 112 career NHL games with Vegas, the Carolina Hurricanes and Jets.
