The Vegas Golden Knights are locking up a key member of the blue line.
Jeremy Lauzon is signing a six-year, $24 million extension with the Golden Knights, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Tuesday.
The Golden Knights acquired Lauzon from the Nashville Predators last off-season.
In his first season with Vegas, he had a goal and 12 assists while being a minus-three in 68 games played. He also appeared in 12 playoff games as the Golden Knights fell to the Carolina Hurricanes in the Stanley Cup final.
Lauzon missed Round 2 and the Western Conference final with an upper-body injury.
The 29-year-old has 15 goals and 43 assists for 58 points in 384 career regular-season games between the Bruins, Kraken, Predators and Golden Knights.
