Taylor Hall is ready to return.
The Carolina Hurricanes have activated the forward from injured reserve, the team announced on Monday.
Hall missed the last five games with an upper-body injury he suffered against the Washington Capitals on Oct. 13.
The 34-year-old had three goals and two assists for five points in eight games with the Hurricanes before his injury.
Hall registered 48 points (18 goals, 30 assists) in 80 games last season. He also added seven goals and 12 assists in the playoffs as the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup.
Carolina assigned forward Skyler Brind'Amour to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL in a corresponding move.
