Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov day-to-day with upper-body injury

Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

The Hurricanes will roll with 11 forwards and seven defencemen Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Svechnikov, 21, had yet to miss a match so far this season and was on a near point-per-game pace with nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 22 contests.
