The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Jeremy Bracco to a one-year, two-way contract.

Bracco will earn $700,000 at the NHL level and $100,000 in the AHL.

He became a free agent this off-season after not being tendered a qualifying offer from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 23-year-old had 34 points in 44 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies this past season and had a career-high 79 points in 75 games during the 2018-19 season.

Bracco was originally taken in the second round (61st overall) by the Leafs in the 2015 NHL Draft.
