Hurricanes sign goaltender Antti Raanta to two-year, $4M contract

The Carolina Hurricanes agreed to terms with goaltender Antti Raanta on a two-year contract with an average annual value of $2 million, the team announced Wednesday.

Raanta has played in 196 NHL regular season games with the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers and Arizona Coyotes.

The 32-year-old from Rauma, Finland, posted a 5-5-2 record and registered a 3.36 goals-against average and .905 save percentage with the Coyotes last season.
