The Carolina Hurricanes have inked goaltender Antoine Bibeau to a one-year, two-way deal, the club announced Thursday.

Bibeau's deal will pay him $700,000 at the NHL level in 2019-20.

"Antoine is coming off a hip injury, but is fully healthy now," Hurricanes GM Don Waddell said via a team release. "He's a veteran netminder with some NHL experience and adds to the depth of our organization at that position."

The 26-year-old has four NHL games on his resumé, two of those coming last season with the Colorado Avalanche and the others coming in 2016-17 for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He's posted a .907 save percentage and a 2.52 goals-against average over that span.

Bibeau's last full campaign came for AHL San Jose in 2018-19, when he posted a .904 save percentage and 2.89 goals-against average over 35 games.
