The Carolina Hurricanes are making deals with some of their young talent.
The Hurricanes announced in a press release Monday that they agreed to terms with Ronan Seeley on a one-year, two-way contract. The contract holds a $775,000 average annual value at the NHL level.
Seeley is an investment from the Hurricanes' AHL Affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. The 22-year-old blueliner played the 2024-25 season with the Wolves, serving as their alternate captain. He has played in 197 career AHL games, registering nine goals, 40 assists and 49 points.
The Yellowknife native represented Canada at the 2022 World Junior Championship where he registered four points and won the gold medal.
Seeley was selected in the seventh round (208th overall) of the 2020 Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes.
