Hurricanes sign Seth Jarvis to three-year, entry-level deal

Portland Winterhawks forward Seth Jarvis has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Seth Jarvis to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The deal will pay Jarvis $832,500 at the NHL level, $80,000 if he plays in the AHL and comes with a $277,500 signing bonus. Jarvis was selected by the Hurricanes 13th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.

“Seth is an extremely talented player with elite puck skills and scoring ability,” Hurricanes general manager Don Waddell said in a statement. “He has a very bright future, and we are excited to watch him continue his development into an NHL player.”

The 18-year-old had 42 goals and 98 points in 58 games with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL.
