New York Islanders leading scorer Mathew Barzal and defenceman Zdeno Chara both are listed as day to day after suffering injuries Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings.
Barzal had to be helped off the ice after a collision with Phillip Danault in the second period. He returned for one shift, but then left.
Chara also was hurt in the second when he hit Blake Lizotte.
Barzal has 37 points in 45 games this season.
The 44-year-old Chara has eight assists in 45 games.
