Bo Horvat will have to pay up for his actions on Saturday night.
The league fined the New York Islanders forward $2,500 on Sunday for unsportsmanlike conduct against San Jose Sharks forward William Eklund.
Following a scrum in front of the Sharks' bench early in the third period, Horvat stood in front of Eklund, who was on the bench, and flipped up his helmet.
Horvat received no penalty on the play, and would go on to score the overtime winner.
The 30-year-old has been one of the Islanders' top offensive producers this season, leading the team with 27 goals while sitting third in points with 44.
Horvat also represented Team Canada at the Olympics in February, scoring two goals in six games.
