Islanders sign Cal Clutterbuck to two-year contract extension

The New York Islanders have signed forward Cal Clutterbuck to a two-year contract extension carrying an average annual value of $1.75 million.

Clutterbuck, 34, has 15 points in 59 games this season, his ninth with the Islanders. He has appeared in 933 games over 15 years with the Wild and Islanders.

Clutterbuck was in the final season of a five-year, $17.5-million contract and was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent.
