The New York Islanders have added another player to their goaltending mix.
David Rittich signed a one-year deal with the Metropolitan Division club, the team announced on Tuesday.
Rittich, 32, played in 34 games for the Los Angeles Kings last season, posting an .887 save percentage and 2.81 goals-against average.
The Czech native has appeared in 230 career games with the Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predators, Winnipeg Jets and Kings since breaking into the league as an undrafted free agent.
He joins Ilya Sorokin, Semyon Varlamov and Marcus Hogberg in the Islanders' crease.
