Toronto Maple Leafs forward Calle Jarnkrok is week-to-week with a hand injury, coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters Friday.
The injury occurred in the second period on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers as Jarnkrok was stretching to deflect the puck into the zone but went into the boards using his arm to brace the impact.
Jarnkrok was visibly shaken up on the play and went to the locker room after returning to the bench.
The 32-year-old missed 13 games earlier this season because of a broken knuckle. In 52 games this season, Jarnkrok has 10 goals and 21 points.
Meanwhile, star forward Mitch Marner (lower-body injury) will miss his third consecutive game on Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes, Keefe said.
Watch the Leafs-Hurricanes game at 7 p.m. Saturday on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
