The Winnipeg Jets are getting some pieces back from injury as they battle in the crowded Central Division.
The Jets activated forwards Morgan Barron and Cole Koepke from the injured reserve, the team announced Monday.
In a corresponding move, they loaned forwards Nikita Chibrikov, Parker Ford, and Brad Lambert to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Barron recorded three goals and three assists in 12 games before being sidelined with an undisclosed injury he suffered in the Jets’ Nov. 1st 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Koepke has made 14 appearances this season, logging two assists while averaging 10:16 of ice time and has missed the last four games due to his undisclosed injury.
Through eight games, Chibrikov finished with no points. Meanwhile, Lambert played four games and scored his first NHL goal, and Ford had one assist in his 11 games.
The Jets (11-7-0) return to action Tuesday as they play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
