The captain of the Winnipeg Jets was forced to leave Monday's game against the Utah Hockey Club after only one period.
Adam Lowry skated six shifts in the first period but didn't rejoin his teammates for the second. The Jets did not have an immediate update on his status and head coach Scott Arniel did not have any information after the game.
Centre Gabriel Vilardi also briefly left the game with an apparent injury but did return.
Lowry, 31, has 11 goals and 26 points in 48 games this season.
Utah won the game 5-2.
