Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler left Wednesday’s game and did not return against the Toronto Maple Leafs with an undisclosed injury.
Wheeler’s last shift came late in the first period as he did not return to the bench for the second period.
In 36 games this season, the 34-year-old has 10 goals and 31 points.
