Kyle Connor is once again off to a fast start.
The Winnipeg Jets sniper found the back of the net on the power play in the second period against the Boston Bruins on Friday night.
It extended Connor's NHL record with goals in nine straight opening-night games. The next closest are Cam Atkinson, Yvan Cournoyer and Mud Bruneteau, who each scored goals in six straight opening nights in their careers.
Connor, 29, scored 39 goals and 92 points in 82 games last season. He has scored at least 30 goals in eight of his 10 NHL seasons.
