The Winnipeg Jets will have to make do without defenceman Neal Pionk for the next little while.
Jets head coach Scott Arniel told reporters Friday that Pionk is week-to-week due to a lower-body injury.
Pionk has 37 points (nine goals and 28 assists) in 66 games this season.
The 29-year-old ranks third on the team with a plus-21 and is second in average ice time, with 22:09 minutes per game.
The Western Conference-leading Jets (45-17-4) return to action Friday at home against the Dallas Stars.
