The Winnipeg Jets could be without one of their top offensive weapons for Friday's game against the Utah Hockey Club.
Jets head coach Scott Arniel said that Nikolaj Ehlers is under the weather and will be a game-time decision for Friday's game, per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press.
The 28-year-old forward did not participate in Friday's morning skate.
Ehlers has 14 goals and 26 assists in 40 games for the Central Division-leading Jets.
Winnipeg enters Friday's matchup with Utah having lost two of its past three games, but did pull off a come-from-behind OT victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.
The Jets also recalled Brad Lambert, one of their prospects, from the AHL on Friday.
Per Wiebe, Lambert will replace Dominic Toninato, who was sent back down to the AHL on Thursday.
