Winnipeg Jets forward Saku Mäenalanen left Thursday's game against the St. Louis Blues with an upper-body injury and will not return, the team announced.
Mäenalanen, 28, exited the game after he was taken into the boards by the Blues' Niko Mikkola. He headed to the bench favouring his right shoulder before heading down the tunnel with the training staff.
The Finnish forward has four goals and two assists in 24 games for Winnipeg this season.
Winners of back-to-back games, the Jets are currently tied with the Dallas Stars for first in the Central Division.
