Jets' Laine out vs. Maple Leafs with upper-body injury, listed day-to-day

Check this out, as Patrik Laine comes out for Jets practice, but after testing out his undisclosed ailment, has to leave early, making his status unknown against the Maple Leafs.

Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine will miss Monday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs with an upper-body injury, coach Paul Maurice told reporters.

Laine practised on Monday and Sunday, but left early on both occasions. He is listed as day-to-day. Jansen Harkins will enter the lineup Monday in his place.

In Winnipeg's season opener Thursday, Laine had two goals and an assist in a 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames. Monday's game against Toronto begins at 7 p.m. ET.
