Brad Lambert didn't get to finish out the Winnipeg Jets' first pre-season game.
The centre was pulled from the game by a concussion spotter during an overtime power play. Lambert was tripped and sent headfirst into a Minnesota Wild goal post in the play that gave the Jets their man advantage.
After the game, head coach Scott Arniel confirmed Lambert had been removed by a concussion spotter but said he hasn't received an update on the player, per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press.
"He stayed on his hands and knees a little bit too long, I guess," said Arniel. "I just got told and he has to come out."
The 21-year-old played five games for the Jets last season and recorded one assist.
