Elias Salomonsson is heading back to the AHL.
The 22-year-old has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose by the Winnipeg Jets, the team announced on Sunday.
Salomonsson had yet to make an NHL appearance this season.
The Swedish blue-liner made his debut with the Jets last year after he was originally taken in the second round (55th overall) of the 2022 draft. He made 32 NHL appearances in 2025-26, recording one goal and four assists in that span, to go with 27 blocks and 50 hits.
Salomonsson last played for the AHL's Moose last year, when he logged one goal and eight assists in 29 regular-season appearances before chipping in an additional helper during the playoffs.
