Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers is expected to be in the lineup when the team hosts the Calgary Flames for their season opener Thursday, per Sportsnet’s Ken Wiebe.
The 24-year-old took part in the team’s pre-game skate and line rushes just a day after he was absent from Jets practice due to COVID-19 protocol.
Ehlers put up 58 points in 71 games with the Jets last season, his fifth year in Winnipeg.
