The Winnipeg Jets have placed Andrew Copp, Kristian Vesalainen and a staff member in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Thursday.

Prior to the announcement, the Jets did not have any members of the organization in protocol. The Jets last played on Dec. 19 versus the St. Louis Blues and are scheduled to play the Minnesota Wild when the NHL returns from its holiday break on Dec. 27.

Copp, 27, has seven goals and 13 assists through 30 games this season.

Vesalainen, 22, has two goals in 26 games.
