Winnipeg Jets defenceman Nathan Beaulieu has been placed on the injured reserve list with a lower-body injury, the team announced Wednesday.
Defenceman Ville Heinola has been promoted from AHL Manitoba to fill the roster spot.
Beaulieu was hurt last Friday in a game against the Dallas Stars after a collision with Ryan Suter.
The 29-year-old native of Strathroy, Ont., has four assists in 24 games this season.
