In a corresponding move, Winnipeg has recalled Cole Perfetti from the taxi squad on an emergency basis. Perfetti, 20, has played three games this season without registering a point. He’s spent most of the 2020-21 campaign with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, and also joined the Canadian world juniors team for the eventually cancelled world junior hockey championship.
The Jets have also reassigned Jeff Malott, Austin Pognanski and Mikhail Berdin from AHL Manitoba to the team’s taxi squad.
